    • The analyses of the Kent bowling in both the Sussex innings does not add up. ‘Box now went in determined to make a stand, if possible; but it was impossible to obtain runs from the fine throwing - for it would be ridiculous to call it bowling - of Adams and Hills' Brighton Herald
