Jamaica in Canada Jul 1993 - Results Summary




Jamaica v President's XI (Canada) : Tour Summary : Jul 93

A Jamaican team lost all three matches to a President's  XI  team
on their July visit to Toronto, Canada.
The Toronto team, made up mainly of West Indian  immigrants,  was
consistent  with  both the bat, led by Paul Prashad, and the ball
and the Jamaicans lost each time by comfortable margins.
Orville Pennant was the leading Jamaican batsman, scoring over 30
in  each of the matches.  The bowling was weakened by injuries to
the two major pacers, Franklyn Rose and Clifton Fflokes.  Fflokes
sustained  a leg injury in the first match, while Rose suffered a
strain to his left leg in the second.  The matches were played at
King City in the suburbs of Toronto.
