  Playing Conditions  

Except as varied hereunder, the Laws of Cricket (2000 Code) and "ICC Code of Conduct, Standard Playing Conditions and Other Regulations - September 2001", and subsequent amendments, shall apply.

These clauses should be read in conjunction with ICC Playing Conditions - September 2001, (Pages101-110).

2.HOURS OF PLAY, INTERVALS AND MINIMUM OVERS IN THE DAY
 
2.1Start and Cessation Times:
 
 DAY/NIGHT MATCHES
 
 WEDNESDAY 12 JUNE - (Colonial Stadium) & WEDNESDAY 19 JUNE, 2002 - (Gabba)
 
 2.15pm - 5.45pm Afternoon Session
 5.45pm - 6.30pm Tea
 6.30pm - 10.00pm Evening Session
 
 
 SATURDAY 15 JUNE, 2002 - (Colonial Stadium)
 
 1.15pm - 4.45pm Afternoon Session
 4.45pm - 5.30pm Tea
 5.30pm - 9.00pm Evening Session
 
 There will be 2 sessions of 3½ hours each separated by a 45 minute break.
 
2.4Extra Time: Provision has been made for up to 15 minutes. - refer 4.2.1 (a) and 4.2.3.
 
 
13.BALL HITTING THE ROOF
 In the event of a ball being hit by the batsman and making contact with the roof, or its' superstructure within the field of play, the umpire shall call and signal "dead ball" and allow another ball to be bowled.
