DHAKA, Jan 15: Indian captain Azharuddin expressed dismay over fielding of his side although they went one up in the three-nation finals with an eight wicket victory over Pakistan here on Wednesday. ``We batted well, bowled pretty good but dropped a number of catches and also conceded some extra runs, I'm happy but not happier'', Azhar said after the match.

Azhar who regained his captain after 17 months from Sachin Tendulkar, praised his predecessor for his extraordinary performance in the match. ``Sachin played extremely well and it could have been a brilliant century had he not dismissed'', said Azhar.

Evading a quarry about Pakistan's weakness I batting on the day, Azhar said actually our bowlers maintained good line and lengths to restrict Pakistani batsmen.

``Pakistanis did not get a good total in the first 13 overs because our bowlers did not give any liberty during the fielding restriction'', added Azhar.

The 34-year old talented batsman said that losing toss and being sent in to field first by the Pakistan captain turned out to be good for his side.

``Certainly we will look for win in other two finals'', he said confidently.

He counterpart Rashid Latif gave credit to Indian bowlers for the victory and blamed his batsmen for their debacle.

``They bowled very well in the morning specially Srinath, Mohanty and Harvinder Singh'', said Latif.

``Our batsmen threw away wickets'', he added.

Pakistan coach Haroon Rasheed said that Sachin Tendulkar made all the difference with his brilliant performance in the match.

``It was a very good performance from the Indian side particularly Sachin Tendulkar'', he said.

``I think, he (Sachin) is in his best form and he tore apart our bowling in the first 13 overs'' added Haroon Rasheed.

Replying to a question he said that most of the Pakistani batsmen were out after scoring 30 or more and when the team was looking forward for an anchoring role they were dismissed and that was the reason for not building a good defendable total.

``But credit should not be taken away from the Indian bowlers'' added the 45-years-old Pakistani coach.

Commenting on his captain's decision about batting first, Haroon said. ``It happened sometimes that captain had to take a decision''.

``What had happened in the previous matches, did not happen in this match balls came well to bat in the latter innings'', he added.

Recalling their 1982 world cup triumph in Australia, coach Haroon expressed his determination to come back and win the other finals. ``We are determined and every body in our side are eager to win the other finals'', he concluded.
