Andy Flower is considered one of the most stylish batsmen playing cricket today. The Zimbabwean left-hander is a sweet timer of the ball and plays with the trademark fluency that is only associated with a quality performer. He has the proven ability to tear apart any attack when in the mood. His team is also dependent on his job behind the wicket which he does with aplomb. Daily Star Sport spoke to a cordial Andy fleetingly at his hotel yesterday.

Daily Star Sport: You are no stranger to Bangladesh conditions. What are your feelings this time around?

Andy Flower: Well, things have been excellent. We have had good practice, played a practice match against England too.

DSS: It wasn't a memorable outing......

AF: I guess it was one of those matches where we played badly. But it was just one match.

DSS: How do you rate your chances in this tournament?

AF: Oviously to win it,you got to beat three very good sides. It may seem unlikely but I won't say it's impossible. I think we are a capable team.

DSS: Zimbabwe depends a lot on your batting. Are you happy with the way you are playing at the moment?

AF: I have scored some runs against India recently. So I think my form is pretty good.

DSS: How are you looking forward to the game against New Zealand?

AF: We are pretty similar sides. The team that plays well on the day will win.
