Bangladesh captain Aminul Islam said his team has nothing to lose but gain everything from the two practice matches they will be playing against New Zealand and England at the BKSP. The NZ match is today and the England game tomorrow.

``We are aware of our strength and will try to give our best against the two Test-playing sides,'' said Aminul while talking to The Daily Star at the BKSP yesterday during the England-Zimbabwe match.

``We came to know about tomorrow's match against New Zealand a while ago so I can't tell you anything in advance,'' Aminul added, saying that they did not have any net practice since their arrival at the BKSP on October 16.

``We were restricted to the indoors and we did a bit of knocking on dry days. But there was no nets for us,'' said a dejected Aminul.

``Despite all the odds, the team spirit is very high and I hope we will do well,'' said the ACC Trophy winning captain.

When contacted, the Director-General of BKSP, Brig Mahmud Hassan, also confirmed that the institute could not provide the Bangladesh team with enough practice facilities because of their earlier commitment of preparing a ground for the practice matches for England and Zimbabwe.

``Moreover, I was not informed by the board in time that the national team will have training here. I came to knew the day they arrived here,'' said Hassan.
