South Africa all-rounder Shaun Pollock has been ruled out of the forthcoming Wills International Tournament in Bangladesh.

Pollock sustained an apparently minor back injury whilst playing for his provinicial side, Natal, in a pre-season friendly match. The injury is responding to treatment, but Pollock is not yet fully fit and is yet to play for Natal in a serious fixture.

The West Indies arrive next month for a 5 Test, 7 ODI tour, and the selectors want to ensure that Pollock is fit for that campaign.

The UCB have yet to name a player to take Pollock's place in the Wills tournament.
