Fair weather has been forecast for the Wills International Cup in Dhaka from October 24 to November 2. Taking meterological and climate data into account, the Experts Committee at Central Met Office in Bangladesh have said that the monsoon will end by October 15.

``It indicates no match will be washed away by rains... the mini-world cup tournament will not be hampered by rainfall,'' said a member of the committee while releasing the monthly forecast report. He said capital Dhaka may experience slight rainfall in the first half of the current month. Entire Dhaka division has been forecast 150 to 200 mm rainfall for 8 to 10 days while the normal is 167 mm.

``The tournament was scheduled considering the monsoon tenure. And now it's clear that the monsoon will not hamper the tounament. It's a great relief,'' said an official at Bangladesh Cricket Board.
