Miandad examines Pindi wicket

RAWALPINDI, Sept 28: Pakistan coach Javed Miandad visited the
Rawalpindi stadium wicket today. Selection committee headed by Wasim
Bari will meet at the Stadium on Tuesday afternoon after examining
the wicket for the first Test between Pakistan and Australia, which
begins here on Oct 1. The other two members of selection committee
Salahuddin and Shafique 'Papa' will also be arriving tomorrow.
While the tourists have already arrived here, the Pakistan team will
be reaching on Tuesday morning. The cutting of outfield and
preparation of wicket reached its final stages on Monday.
