Defending Champions Kingston College and last year's beaten finalists Jonathan Grant High will be hoping to set themselves up for a repeat of the 1997-98 Sunlight Cup finals, when they oppose St. Jago High and Bridgeport Comprehensive High respectively in the competition's semi-finals today and tomorrow.

Kingston College oppose St. Jago at Melbourne Park, Elletson Road, while Jonathan Grant travel to Bridgeport Comprehensive.

In other matches, St. Andrew Technical (STATHS) host Waterford Comprehensive at Maxfield Park, while Wolmer's oppose St. George's College at Heroes Circle. All matches are scheduled to start at 10:30 a.m. each day.

The Roy McLean-prepared Kingston College, with victories over Wolmer's and St. George's College respectively, will looking to the experience of Marlon Samuels a Jamaica and West Indies Under-19 allrounder, captain Sean Cousley, pacer Andrew Richardson, along with spinners Martin Isaacs, Lincoln Granston and Orville Clarke.

St. Jago with victory over Wolmer's and a loss to St. George's College, however, should not be taken lightly, especially if top batsmen Raymond Smith, captain Lindo Christie, Ryan Campbell, Under-15 representative Danza Hyatt and pacer Calvin Walsh reports in top form.

Smith cracked 136, while Walsh bagged 6-72 in St. Jago's 23-run victory over Wolmer's.

The Devon Buchannan-coached Jonathan Grant High, with victory over STATHS and a draw with Waterford Comprehensive, will look to key players in captain Tamar Lambert, Andre O'Sullivan, David Harrison, Gerald Morgan, Richard Lewin, Howard Walters, Roshane Ferron and Greg Hare to spearhead their charge.

Bridgeport, last year's Colts champions, will look to Camelio Ricketts, Maurice Evans, captain Damion Douglas, Orane Cunningham, Omar Haynes, Ryan Clarke, Craig Dawkins and Chistopher Hopwood. Evans captured 5-22, while Ricketts made 39 in their losing effort against Waterford.
