Darrell Hair Appointed to World Cup Panel of Umpires
Malcolm Speed, Australian Cricket Board CEO, announced today that the Board had nominated Umpire Darrell Hair as its representative on the World Cup Panel of Umpires.
The World Cup program for umpires commences on 7 May 1999 with a number of warm-up matches. The World Cup begins on 14 May 1999 and Australia's first game is on 16 May 1999.
