The special general meeting of the Asian Cricket Council which was to be held in Sharjah on April 15 has been postponed.

Zakir Hussain Syed, the ACC secretary said that the meeting had been postponed on the request of some member countries. A fresh date for the meeting will be announced shortly, he said.

The meeting was to approve the development programme for Asia which was given final shape in Kolkata on March 29 and 30 in the development committee meeting of the ACC.
