Wisden CricInfo staff - August 18, 2001

NAIROBI, Kenya (Reuters)
Middle-order batsman Ramnaresh Sarwan has been forced out of the second one-day international between the West Indies and Kenyawith a back injury. Marlon Samuels replaces Sarwan in an otherwise unchanged team from the one which beat Kenya by 106 runs in the first game on Wednesday.

The West Indies dominated the first game after man-of-the-match Chris Gayle (152) and Daren Ganga (68) fired them to an imposing 311 for 4. Pace-bowlers Colin Stuart (5-44) and Corey Collymore (3-26) then restricted the Africans to 205 all out in 49.3 overs.

The final game in the three-match series will be played on Sunday.

West Indies team: Chris Gayle, Daren Ganga, Wavell Hinds, Carl Hooper (captain), Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Marlon Samuels, Courtney Browne, Neil McGarrell, Colin Stuart, Corey Collymore, Reon King.
