These figures show how comprehensively Australia's leading bowlers outperformed England's strike force of Darren Gough and Andy Caddick during the series. Glenn McGrath and Shane Warne both took more wickets at much lower averages - and also combined for seven five-wicket hauls, compared to Gough and Caddick's one apiece. McGrath specialised in top-order victims - 25 of his 32 wickets came from Nos. 1-7. Warne, on the other hand, had fun with the tail - 13 of his victims were from Nos. 8-11. Caddick and Gough, meanwhile, took only six tailend wickets between them. As in so much this summer, it's advantage Australia ...
