Umpires for National Bank Series Test matches against Bangladesh named

Officials for the first Test match between the CLEAR Black Caps and Bangladesh starting Tuesday 18 December at Westpac Trust Stadium Hamilton are:

Umpires: David Orchard from South Africa (ICC appointed) and Tony Hill from New Zealand (New Zealand Cricket appointed)

Third/Reserve Umpire: Doug Cowie from New Zealand (New Zealand Cricket appointed)

4th Umpire: John Fowler from New Zealand (New Zealand Cricket appointed)

ICC Match Referee: Barry Jarman from Australia (ICC appointed)

Officials for the 2nd Test match between the CLEAR Black Caps and Bangladesh starting Wednesday 26 December at the Basin Reserve Wellington are:

Umpires: Daryl Harper from Australia (ICC appointed) and Brent Bowden from New Zealand (New Zealand appointed)

Third/Reserve Umpire: David Quested from New Zealand (New Zealand appointed)

4th Umpire: David Ellwood from New Zealand (New Zealand appointed)

ICC Match Referee: Barry Jarman from Australia (ICC appointed)

New Zealand Cricket National Umpiring Manager Brian Aldridge, who is responsible for the New Zealand appointments, said he had complete confidence in all the officials involved in the National Bank Series matches.

"The ICC appointed officials have a lot of experience and I'm sure our appointments will give a good account of themselves, he said.

It will be Tony Hill's first Test match and Brent Bowden's second.
