East Christchurch Shirley Women's 1st Grade player Kathryn Legg, and team official Stephen Daly were reported to the Canterbury Cricket Association Code of Conduct Commissioners for incidents relating to a match played at Burwood Park on Saturday 15 December 2001.

The Code of Conduct Hearing following the match, found both Legg and Daly in breach of the Canterbury Cricket Association Code of Conduct. As a result, Legg was suspended for one match, and Daly fined in accordance with the Code of Conduct.

The commissioners who presided over the hearing were Peter Doody and Mark Bond.
