PCB Chairman and CBFS Chairman meeting
Pakistan Cricket Board - 27 December 2001

Chairman PCB & Chairman CBFS Mr. Abdur Rehman Bukhatir met at dinner on 25 December. Mr. Bukhatir was on the way home from Delhi. The two discussed matters of mutual interest. The possibility of holding an ACC and ACF meeting was discussed. It is likely that these two meeting may take place in Bangladesh in January. Issues facing Asian Cricket may come under discussion. Mr. Bukhatir also confirmed the availability of Sharjah and Morocco as third venues for international cricket, subject to weather. He also started that other venues coming up in the UAE, will also be given a helping hand. This is in tune with the ICC policy of holding neutral venue cricket, if home venue is not available for some reason. The ICC policy was articulated in Kuala Lumpur in October.

Further possibilities of holding more multinational tournaments in Pakistan were also discussed.
