New Zealand name unchanged side
Wisden CricInfo staff - December 13, 2001

AUCKLAND (Reuters)
The New Zealand cricket selectors named the same starting 11 that drew the third Test against Australia in Perth last week for the first Test against Bangladesh, which starts next Tuesday (Dec 18). Auckland seam bowler Chris Drum has been called into the 12 and will replace Glen Sulzberger as 12th man. Chairman of selectors Richard Hadlee said the unchanged selection recognised the outstanding team performance at Perth. "We expect the side to win both Test matches against Bangladesh and to win them well," Hadlee said. "It is important to continue the positive momentum begun in Australia and to maintain quality play leading into the one-day tri-series in Australia and the following series against England." New Zealand Stephen Fleming (capt), Nathan Astle, Shane Bond, Chris Cairns, Chris Martin, Craig McMillan, Adam Parore (wk), Mark Richardson, Mathew Sinclair, Daniel Vettori, Lou Vincent. Chris Drum (12th man).
