Northern makes two changes for southern tour
1 February 2001

Northern Districts' State Insurance Cup side faces a tough four days when flying out of Hamilton tomorrow for its South Island tour.

Northern Districts, who beat Auckland in Whangarei two weeks ago, face two games against Canterbury at Rangiora on Saturday and Sunday and then two games against Otago in Dunedin.

ND are in fifth place on the table, nine points behind Canterbury and four clear of the winless Otago team.

Two changes have been made to the side which beat Auckland.

Sixteen-year-old Jody Antonovich has just completed a successful national secondary schools tournament while 18-year-old Victoria Brown from Hamilton is the other change.

Neisha Pratt has been excluded from the side while Janice Fraser was unavailable due to an injury suffered in the Auckland game.

The team is: Anna Wilkins (captain), Jody Antonovich, Nicola Brown, Victoria Brown, Charlotte Edwards, Maree Hannay, Aimee Lennsen, Louise Milliken, Haylee Partridge, Skye Sandilands, Katherine Spence, Jenny Stafford.
