The Barbados Nation Barbados keeping same team
1 February 2001

Ian Bradshaw has been retained as captain and the Barbados selectors have named an unchanged squad of 13 for the fifth-round Busta Cup match against the Windward Islands starting tomorrow at Kensington Oval.

Bradshaw's initial appointment was for four matches, but with Sherwin Campbell still on duty with the West Indies team in Australia, he will hold onto the post for at least an additional match. He also gave the selectors something to think about, scoring an unbeaten 109 not out at the Oval to ensure Barbados at least earned points from a draw with England A.

The selectors have also kept faith with the same squad that took on England A last weekend. From that 13, batsman Floyd Reifer and Shirley Clarke were named reserves.

Barbados are in sixth place on 21 points, while the Windwards are bottom of the table without a point.

The squad: Ian Bradshaw (captain), Adrian Griffith, Philo Wallace, Sean Armstrong, Ryan Hinds, Roland Holder, Courtney Browne, Dave Marshall, Hendy Bryan, Ryan Austin, Corey Collymore, Shirley Clarke, Floyd Reifer. Manager: Tony Howard; Coach: Hendy Springer.
