Marsh to make Pura Cup debut
Western Australia Cricket Association - 26 February 2001

Seventeen-year-old Willetton all-rounder Shaun Marsh will make his first-class debut for the Western Warriors against the Southern Redbacks in the Pura Cup clash starting at the WACA Ground on Friday 2 March 2001.

A left hand batsman and right arm medium pace bowler, Marsh has represented WA at under-17s, under-19s and ACB Cup level.

Marsh will be available to the media in the Bryant Room on level two of the WACA's Prindiville Stand at 3.30pm today, Monday 26 February 2001.

The Redbacks have announced a 13-man squad containing four potential debutantes in Cameron Borgas, Ben Higgins, Paul Rofe and Luke Williams. Borgas, a 17-year-old right hand batsman, captained the SA under-17s to the national title in January and was named player-of-the-carnival.

WA umpire Andrew Craig will also make his first-class debut in the match.
