Free admittance for Busta competition
West Indies Cricket Board Media Release - 4 January 2001

The West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) is once again giving spectators generous concessions for this year's Busta Cricket Series 2001.

As in 2000, women with children as well as children under 18 years of age will be allowed free admittance to all matches in this year's regional competition which starts today (4th Jan) in Trinidad. The price for men is also "nominal" says the WICB's Marketing Manager, Darren Millien.

"The pricing policy that we experimented with so successfully last year is being repeated this season. We hope that like last year this will encourage fans to come out and support regional cricket, especially with the new and exciting format which we have put in place."

This year's regional tournament features a new two-tiered system with two titles - the Busta Cup and the Busta International Shield - up for grabs. Six regional teams will compete for the Busta Cup while these same teams plus England A and a West Indies B team will vie for the Busta International Shield.
