SYDNEY - Australian cricketer Mark Waugh is yet to announce whether he will agree to speak with with anti-corruption investigators, Australian Cricket Board (ACB) chief executive Malcolm Speed said today.

Speed denied a report in Melbourne's Herald Sun today declaring the embattled Waugh would talk with the International Cricket Council's anti-corruption unit and ACB special investigator Greg Melick.

"There have been a number of calls from journalists saying there's an article in the newspaper saying that Mark has agreed to talk but that hasn't been confirmed," Speed said on radio 2GB.

Waugh was yesterday given an ultimatum to speak with investigators or face the sack from the Australian cricket team.
