The Canterbury Shell Trophy team to play Otago this week at the Village Green, QEII Park, was named today.

The game begins on Thursday (1st February) and Convenor of Selectors, Ben Harris said that the experienced Otago team would be a tough opponent for the Canterbury team.

"Otago is a good Shell Trophy team and is playing well. A number of the younger players in the Canterbury team need to lift their performances and the team as a whole needs more consistency".
