Somerset Under 16's beat Surrey in Championship

Somerset Under 16's scored a memorable victory over Surrey at Camberley in their two day Six Counties Championship match recently.

Batting first Somerset amassed 300 for 9. Nick King who came in when the score was 17 for 2 occupied the crease for the rest of the innings to make an impressive unbeaten 121, and Ross Scanlon scored 32.

In reply Surrey were bowled out for 278 to give Somerset victory by 22 runs.

Lee Denslow was the pick of the Somerset bowlers taking 4 for 89 from 17 overs, with Seamus Crawford taking 3 for 28.
