Somerset Under 15's lose to Hampshire but beat Devon

Somerset Under 15's have enjoyed mixed fortunes in their last two matches.

Against Hampshire at King's College in Taunton Somerset scored 224 for 8 with Richard Timms making 66 and James Keene 42. In reply Hampshire passed their target for the loss of their two opening batsmen to record an eight wicket victory.

On Sunday Somerset hit the winning trail again when they met Devon, also played at King's College in Taunton.

Batting first Devon scored 191 for 8 in their 50 overs.

In reply Somerset scored 192 for 5 with 2 overs to spare to gain a 5 wicket victory.

For Somerset Richard Timms, who is in fine form this season made an unbeaten 89.
