Dear Dr. Edwards,

It is a just reward for all your and the CCA's tireless efforts over the years. Well done.

Also just wanted to take this opportunity in congratulating you, the CCA, Ron and the organising committee, Martin, Steve and all the great individuals, for hosting a magnificent ICC Trophy. I hope we will be able to reciprocate your hospitality at the Americas Cup here in March next year.

Kenyan Cricket Association

Dear Geoff

On behalf of the Chairman and the Executive Committee members of the K.C.A., I would like to heartily congratulate you, your Board and your team for a tournament well organised and qualifying for the 2003 World Cup.

Canada is following our footsteps, we participated in the 1975 World Cup (as East Africa) and you did so in 1979. We did in 1996 and you will in 2003. Hopefully you will in the near future be accorded O.D.I. status as we did in 1997.

We wish Canadian Cricket every success in the future.

Kind regards

JASMER SINGH GENERAL MANAGER

John Shepard (former ICC Development, North America)

Geoff

Your mission has been completed, so don't go giving yourself a heart attack about anything now. CONGRATULATIONS to everyone concerned. Any contribution I can make, you know where to get me. Now to spring a few surprises in South Africa. The boys must not be worried about the stage they'll be on. There are all one day games, and on your day you can win games. Hear/see you soon.

Mathew Kennedy (ICC Development officer)

From Provincial director and national senior team selector John Lovelace

Geoff:

What a proud feeling it is to know that one of our objectives has been met by qualifying for the 2003 World Cup!

Congratulations must go to you, the Manager, the players, and all who have devoted so much time and effort to this great achievement.

I would urge that special consideration be given to the players. We must begin to motivate them now for participation in 2003, when we can make an imprint on the larger stage, and then, as now, all Canadian Cricket will be justifiably proud.

Talk to you soon!

I am particularly happy for Muneeb who put up a lot of hard work and training behind the scenes. All Canadian team did the same I feel certain that they deserved this fantastic success.

May this just prove to be the beginning of many more stunning victories ahead

Dr. Edwards,

I just wanted to congratulate you on Canada's victory over Scotland and its berth in the 2003 World Cup!! Wow!! Against all odds and with so little funding. It sends shivers down my spine to think of how proud and happy you guys should be.

I continue to applaud your vision and passion for Canadian cricket. If ever I can be a resource in the future, do not hesitate to call me.
