David Terbrugge
Wisden CricInfo staff - July 6, 2001

Wisden overview
Thoughtful, modest and approachable, David Terbrugge is nevertheless a red-haired fast bowler with an onfield snarl matched by a sharpness of tongue. Consistency and reliability are his greatest assets, both on and off the field. He is a man to be trusted in good times and bad with a level head and packets of common sense. Wonderful control of line and length give him the ability to strangle batsmen but a late awayswinger, occasional offcutter and surprisingly skiddy pace all contribute as well. His international career appeared well set in 1998-99 after he did the donkeywork in the SA attack during a 5-0 whitewash of West Indies, but ankle, knee and rib injuries have hampered him ever since.
