Aashish Kapoor
Wisden CricInfo staff - July 6, 2001

Wisden overview
An offspinner who is also quite a useful lower-order batsman, Aashish Kapoor has had a long and successful run in domestic cricket, but could never quite establish himself as an international cricketer. His accuracy, coupled with his ability to flight the ball and turn it on helpful pitches, earned him plenty of wickets for Rajasthan, Punjab and Tamil Nadu, and he achieved the rare landmark of 50 wickets in a single Ranji Trophy season in 2000-01. He was handy with the bat, too: playing for Welsh club Abergavenny, he once made a triple-century in an afternoon game. S Rajesh
