PCB Chairman condoles the death of former PCB Secretary's mother
Pakistan Cricket Board - 11 June 2001

Chairman PCB, Lt. General Tauqir Zia has condoled the death of the mother of former secretary PCB, Waqar Ahmed and Special Investigator Israr Ahmed. She was the widow of late Dr. Dilawar Hussain a former Indian Test cricketer and former Chairman Selection Committee, BCCP.

In a message addressed to Waqar Ahmed the Chairman PCB said "Please accept on my personal behalf and on behalf of all my colleagues in PCB our sincere condolences on this precious loss."

Meanwhile Director PCB, Brig. Munawar Ahmed Rana, accompanied by senior colleagues attended the Qul of Begum Dilawar Ahmed and offered condolences on behalf of PCB to both Waqar Ahmed and Israr Ahmed at their residence in Lahore.
