Shine takes Cambridgeshire seriously
Somerset - 26 June 2001

Somerset coach Kevin Shine is: "taking the game against Cambridgeshire very seriously," he told me at 6pm on Tuesday evening, just a few minutes before he held a full team meeting.

After the disappointment of losing to Nottingham Outlaws on Sunday the coach went on: "these sorts of games can be dangerous, and we are meeting to discuss out tactics. Cambridge are a decent side and we are taking no chances."

It is likely that the Minor County side will include Robert Rollins, the former Essex wicket-keeper who is now playing as a batsman, and opening bat Simon Kellett, formerly of Yorkshire.

The squad to face the Eastern county side "will be the same as Sunday's ,with the exception that Piran Holloway returns in place of Marcus Trescothick," the coach concluded.
