Jamie Cox ,who is suffering from a chipped thumb has seen a specialist who has said that surgery is not neccesary, and rest will cure the situation. He is expected to return to first team action next Wednesday (July 4th) for the home match against Essex at The County Ground.

Matt Bulbeck played for the Second XI against Glamorgan yesterday and bowled eight overs at full pace and took 1 for 30. He came through that match without any problems and travels with the seconds to play at Southampton on Wednesday.

Graham Rose has recovered from his knee injury, but now is suffering from a a slight thigh pull. He will play for the seconds at Southampton but is not expected to bowl
