Interviewing panel will undertake second interviews for CLEAR Black Caps coach
New Zealand Cricket - 29 June 2001

The interviewing panel for the CLEAR Black Caps coaching position will undertake second interviews before making a recommendation to the New Zealand Cricket Board.

The Board, at its meeting today, received a full briefing about the short-listed candidates and was advised that second interviews would be conducted with the involvement of CLEAR Black Caps manager, Jeff Crowe, who was not available in the first instance due to an overseas commitment.

"The inclusion of Jeff Crowe in a second round of interviews with the leading candidates will add an important team management perspective and is crucial to the decision-making process," said Operations Manager, John Reid.
