This tall, fair Central Districts allrounder is at halfway house in his quest for international cricket. Starting as a top-order and determined right-hand batsman who bowled offspinners occasionally, Glen Sulzberger more recently concentrated on a bid to join the thin ranks of international-quality spinners in New Zealand. He bowled with modest success in six one-day matches for New Zealand against Zimbabwe and South Africa in 2000-01, but was not required for the home international season. Back with Central Districts, Sulzberger's bowling was not highly successful, but he finished the batting season with 63, 34, 72, 16 and 103. Don Cameron
