MELBOURNE - Australian fast bowler Brett Lee is expected to be fit for the upcoming Ashes cricket tour after receiving encouraging news on his injured elbow today. Specialist Greg Hoy told Lee he was recovering well and should be back bowling in the nets within a month. The Australian team flies out to England on May 26 and the 24-year-old Lee is aiming to be selected in both the Test and one-day squads. Lee damaged the elbow when throwing from the boundary during a one-day match against Zimbabwe in Perth on February 4. "The news couldn't be any better," said Lee, who has also battled serious back and ankle injuries in his brief but spectacular career. "I'm trying to be as positive as I can."
