Summer vacancy with the ECB at Lord's
3 May 2001

The England & Wales Cricket Board has a temporary summer job working in its Corporate Affairs Department.

This is going to be a tremendously exciting and busy summer for cricket, and this is a rare opportunity to work in a very fast-moving office environment.

We're looking for someone who is willing to 'muck in', roll-up-their-sleeves and do whatever's required. This means photocopying, data analysis, dealing with public/media enquiries etc.

The job, which is available immediately, is for at least eight weeks and involves working with a young and very friendly team. It might suit someone on a gap year before going to university. Alternatively, it might suit someone who has already worked in an office environment and likes sport. The job is based at Lord's Cricket Ground.

The person we're looking for will be enthusiastic, well motivated, have good computer skills, be able to show some initiative - and a sense of humour might also be useful! This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain some experience in the world of sport/PR.

If you are interested please email lesley.cook@ecb.co.uk
