Young, quick and aggressive, Mashrafee bin Murtoza has emerged as the fastest bowler in Bangladesh. He made great strides under the tutelage of Andy Roberts, working on his stamina and fitness, and he was given a Test debut against Zimbabwe at Dhaka in 2001-02, after impressing for Bangladesh A. Though banging it in is his preferred style, Mashrafee is capable of reining in his attacking instincts to concentrate on line and length. He is not a complete mug with the bat. Andrew Miller
