Friday, November 23, 2001 Wisden.com shares ICC's view that the match at Centurion is unofficial. We are covering it almost as if it were a Test match, because it is still a game of great interest. But we agree with ICC that it cannot be counted in the records. In our regular package of live coverage, the one element you won't find will be Record Collection, for obvious reasons.

The scores will appear in our automated statistics, notably on player pages, because we have been advised that our database will go haywire if we try to score the game without letting the figures flow through the site. When the code was written, nobody saw this coming. We will take the scores out again in due course, assuming ICC sticks to its guns.
