Patrons Trophy Grade-I Statistics: New stars offer a challenge

After the completion of Pakistan's premier FC tournament Ijaz Ahmed Jnr and Imran Farhat topped in batting while Faisal Irfan and Naeem Akhtar were the best bowlers.

The most runs (743) were hit by Faisal Iqbal for an average of 49.53 but the best average with 697 runs was by Ijaz Ahmed Jnr. Imran Farhat compiled 733 runs for an average of 56.38.

In bowling, more than 50 wickets were claimed by the young medium fast bowlers, Waqar Ahmed (51) and Abdur Rauf (50) appearing in 8 matches. Waqar of Customs, took more than 5 wickets on 6 occasions in an innings.
