CricInfo County Champions 2001 Yorkshire County Cricket Club have announced that they will be teaming up with clothing giants Hugo Boss in a two-year sponsorship deal.

Hugo Boss, who recently opened a new store including Hugo and womenswear in Vicar Lane, Leeds, will provide suits and tour clothing to the playing staff over the next two seasons, making Yorkshire CCC one of the best-dressed Clubs in the Country.

The deal puts the Cricket Club into the premium fashion arena hitherto the preserve of the major league football clubs, whose players are frequently dressed by designer label retailers.

Yorkshire CCC's Commercial Director Tony Panaro commented: "With the team being on the top at the moment and the Hugo Boss brand being one of the best in the clothing world this deal promises to be a great success for both parties."
