An alltime low
Wisden CricInfo staff - October 12, 2001

Kenya's 90 was their lowest one-day total. Before this match their lowest was 103, made against South Africa at Nairobi in 1996-97. They narrowly avoided making the lowest score in an ODI against India -- Pakistan were dismissed for 87 at Sharjah in 1984-85. It was also the second-lowest total in a one-dayer in South Africa. Pakistan again hold top place. They made 43 against West Indies at Cape Town in 1992-93, the lowest one-day score anywhere, on a horribly uneven wicket -- six of their batsmen were out for nought.

India won the match after 11.3 overs, with 231 balls remaining, the fourth-quickest chase in one-day history. The top three are: England against Canada at Old Trafford in 1979, when they had 277 balls to spare, West Indies against Scotland at Leicester in 1999 (239), and West Indies against Sri Lanka at Old Trafford in 1975 (236).

India completed their fifth ten-wicket victory in one-dayers. They had previously won by a similar margin against East Africa at Leeds in 1975, Sri Lanka at Sharjah in 1983-84, West Indies in Trinidad in 1996-97 and Zimbabwe at Sharjah in 1998-99.
