Their last victory in a final came at Sharjah in 1998-99, a ten-wicket victory over Zimbabwe. • India have now won only 3 out of 16 one-dayers against South Africa in South Africa. • Justin Kemp took 3 for 20, his best bowling in one-dayers, in his 11th match. His previous-best was 3 for 54, against West Indies in Grenada in 2000-01. • The team winning the toss at Durban has now lost only one of the last twelve one-dayers at Kingsmead.
