Gary Brent
Wisden CricInfo staff - October 6, 2001

Wisden overview
A steady wobbler of a seam bowler, Gary Brent has had a stop-start international career. He made a nervous debut as a 20-year-old on the 1996-97 Pakistan tour, and had to wait another three years before earning a regular slot in Zimbabwe's one-day team. His bowling is unpretentious with a useful inswinger; his batting is as agricultural as his farming background would suggest, but he is occasionally pushed up the order in pursuit of quick runs. The pick of the Zimbabwean attack since his third coming in 2001, he should be entering his prime at 25. Andrew Miller
