KARACHI, Oct 1: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), which is upgrading six grounds in the city for the promotion of game, committed a blunder when they dug out a football ground in Malir, it was learnt.

Though the construction work has been stopped, yet a substantial amount of funds which were sanctioned to renovate the ground has been thrown down the drain.

The sources blamed the PCB authorities for not taking into confidence the officials of Karachi City Cricket Association (KCCA) regarding the renovation work in the seven zones which led to the unncessary loss of precious funds.
