The national junior selection committee has short-listed the names of probables from 70 to 30 to finalise Pakistan Junior team for the forthcoming Sri Lanka tour to Pakistan.

A Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) spokesman said that the Sri Lankan tour to Pakistan was officially on, and due in November this year.

Following were short-listed:

Salman Butt, Khaqan Arsal (Lahore), Asim Munir Butt, Atiq- ur- Rehman (Gujranwala), Atif Ali Zaidi,Ariz Kamal, Saqib Zia (Karachi), Zeeshan Mohsin, Muhammad Fayyaz, Umer Gul, Kamran Ali (Peshawar), Junaid Zia (Rawalpindi), Mohammad Khalil (Lahore), Najaf Shah (Rawalpindi), Tabish Khan (Karachi), Wahab Riaz, Arslan Mir (Lahore), Mohammad Altaf (Islamabad), Abdul Nasir (Peshawar), Kamran Sajid (Lahore), Kamran Younis (Gujranwala), Azhar Ali (Lahore), Irfanuddin (Karachi), Yasir Shah (Mardan), Azam Husain, Amin-ur-Rehman (Karachi), Zulqarnain Haider (Lahore), Riaz Afrdi (FATA), Salman Qadir (Lahore), Sharif Asadullah (Karachi).
