Celebrations off the field as Blackwell, Dutch and Johnson are awarded caps

Despte losing their National League Match against Warwickshire Bears this afternoon the crowds at The County Ground had plenty to celebrate off the field.

During the early part of the afternoon Chief Executive Peter Anderson circulated amongst the crowds giving them the chance to have a closer look at the Cheltenham and Gloucester Trophy and giving photo opportunies.

As he moved among the large crowd who came along to the re-arranged fixture he told them, "This is your club, and it's your cup, You won it for Somerset." During the tea interval Marcus Trescothick and Richard Johnson did a lap of honour with the trophy, stopping on numerous occasions to talk to well wishers and have photographs taken.

At the end of the break between the innings county caps were presented to Ian Blackwell, Keith Dutch, and Richard Johnson, who Peter Anderson announced "all played their part in helping the club to win the final."
