Condolence messages issued by PCB Chairman
Pakistan Cricket Board - 6 September 2001

PCB Chairman Lt. General Tauqir Zia has condoled the death of the younger brother of test Cricketer Ashraf Ali. In a condolence message conveyed to him by Brig. Munawar Ahmed Rana, Director PCB said "Chairman PCB has asked me to convey his deep condolence on the death of your brother during a heart operation in London, on behalf of all his colleagues and on his own behalf".

In another message, Director PCB, also conveyed similar condolence to Mr. Jamshed Marker, the distinguished cricket commentator and former diplomat on the death of his daughter after a road accident in U.S.A. The message said "Please accept my deep condolence on behalf on all my colleagues in PCB and my own behalf on the precious loss of your daughter Feroza after an accident. Our thoughts are with you and the other members of your family at this bereavement. May God give you the strength to bear this irreparable loss of your beloved daughter".
