PCB warns various Women Cricket Associations about code of conduct
Pakistan Cricket Board - 29 August 2002

It has been observed with concern that different factions of Women Cricket Association are giving statement, in various newspapers, which is contrary to the code of conduct and ethics. Scrutiny Committee has already been formed by Pakistan Cricket Board on the direction of Honourable Court, which is working to unite and form one genuine body of Women Cricket Association to represent Pakistan. The series of such statements at this stage will hamper the smooth functioning of the Scrutiny Committee and will raise unnecessary issues, which at a long run would be harmful to Women Cricket in Pakistan. It is therefore requested that all the factions of the Women Cricket Association should restrain themselves in giving statements in the newspaper till such time the Scrutiny Committee completes its task. This would be beneficial to all the concerned parties.
