Weather hits latest round of Hawke Cup matches 9 December 2002
Hawke's Bay and Wanganui have moved to the top of the Zone 2 Hawke Cup elimination series after this weekend's round of matches. Hawke's Bay headed Taranaki on the first innings, while Wanganui achieved the same result against Horowhenua Kapiti. Nelson and Manawatu had their match affected by the weather, the same fate as befell Wairarapa and Marlborough. Points after round three are: Hawke's Bay 20, Wanganui 20, Manawatu 16, Nelson 13, Taranaki 8, Wairarapa 6, Marlborough 6, Horowhenua Kapiti 3. © CricInfo
