Chase when at Mohali

The Punjab Cricket Association Stadium at Mohali has hosted seven one-day internationals, four of them featuring India. India have won three of them and lost one.
Six of the seven matches have been played under lights. The only day match was the first one at this venue, between India and South Africa in November 1993. India won that one-dayer by 43 runs.
The team batting first has won five times - the average first innings score here is 246; in the second innings, it's 227. On the last two occasions though, the team chasing has won. One of those instances featured minnows Bangladesh against India. Bangladesh were dismissed for 184 and India romped home by five wickets.
Nathan Astle's 117 against Pakistan in the Pepsi Independence Cup in May 1997 is the only century scored in a one-day international at this venue. In the same match, he took 4 for 43, one of only two occasions when a bowler has taken a four-for at Mohali. Shane Warne's 4 for 36 against West Indies in the World Cup semi-final in March 1996 was the other instance.
Sourav Ganguly and Rahul Dravid are the only batsmen in the current line-up to have played one-day matches here. But their figures are less than impressive - Ganguly has scored 64 in two innings, while Dravid has 61 from three.
